Stage 1: Cycling: India & Nepal - 1,150KM
Departing from sea level on the Indian coast, I will cycle 1,150 km across India and into Nepal — through heat, traffic, and terrain that will test endurance before the mountains even begin.
Stage 2: Trekking: The Himalaya - 150KM
From the Nepali lowlands, the route transitions to a 150 km trek through the Khumbu region — the same trails walked by every Everest expedition, now carrying the full weight of what lies ahead.
Stage 3: Climb Mera Peak - 6,476M
Before any attempt on Everest is possible, altitude adaptation is non-negotiable. Mera Peak provides that window, a serious climb in its own right, used here as preparation, not spectacle.
Stage 4: Summit Mount Everest - 8,849M
The final objective. After weeks of human-powered effort across two countries, the summit of Everest represents both the physical endpoint and the emotional centrepiece of everything this expedition stands for.

Why It Matters
Many young people experience mental-health challenges, disconnection or stigma and don’t know where to turn.
Youturn is introducing The YouConnect Gym, a new model supporting youth aged 12-25. These spaces combine the benefits of a regular gym with comprehensive mental health services by qualified professionals. The first gym will open in Tewantin, with plans to expand, helping young people build resilience and connect.
Every step Oliver takes and every dollar raised, will directly fuel this Gym and the young lives it will support.
